Ground Turkey Recipe

I’m going to shift gears a bit and focus on what I’ve been eating. I’m not a nutritionist or an expert on clean eating, but I have some delicious recipes that are well balanced based on my Renaissance Periodization template and are so easy to make. Here is my first one:

1 tablespoon of coconut oil

1 pound of ground turkey

2 packs of Sazón Tropical

1/2 cup water

1/2 tablespoon of Primal Palate Adobo Seasoning (I just bought this seasoning and am not quite comfortable using it exclusively to season with because of my kids, but I’m working it in and hopefully will use it alone for this dish in the future)

Preparation (again I’m not a chef, this is how I do it because it works for me while taking care of my kids at the same time):

On medium heat warm the coconut oil for about 45 seconds. Add the ground turkey, Sazon Tropical and water and stir constantly to break up the ground turkey. Once the turkey is not pink anymore add Primal Palate Adobo Seasoning. Continue to stir over medium heat until the meat starts to turn golden. Now it’s ready to serve!

I accompanied it with a quick salad I made using a fistful of chopped cherry tomatoes and a fistful of chopped cucumbers sprinkled with Tajin. I love this salad and it’s so easy to make, so healthy, refreshing and tasty!

This meal serves as a source of protein and greens but not a significant source of fat or carbohydrates. If you’re meal requires these you would need to add them.

Also, unless I added a link I basically bought all the ingredient at Costco.
